The company is a key drafting unit for the national standard GB/T 25429-2019, “Oil and Gas Drilling Equipment—Drill String Check Valves,” and the petroleum industry standard SY/T 5525-2020, “Oil and Gas Drilling Equipment—Rotary Drilling Equipment—Upper and Lower Square Drill Pipe Plug Valves.” Both standards have been approved for publication by the National Standardization Administration. The company serves as the supporting unit for the “Heilongjiang Province Oil and Gas Drilling Internal Blowout Preventer Tool Engineering Technology Research Center” and is designated as an Enterprise Technology Center in Heilongjiang Province. The Testing Center of Mudanjiang Xinbeifang Petroleum Drilling Tools Co., Ltd.Obtained the National Accreditation Committee (CNAS) laboratory accreditation in August 2013. The heat treatment workshop has been recognized by Mudanjiang City as a heat treatment center. The company boasts comprehensive technical capabilities in mechanical processing, heat treatment, and testing.

The company primarily focuses on a comprehensive range of oil drilling tools, with strong capabilities in the design, development, manufacturing, and service of various product lines including drilling tools, workover tools, production tools, fishing tools, and impact-type unblocking tools. Currently, it has become a major supplier to key oilfields such as the Karamay Oilfield in Xinjiang, the Tarim Oilfield, the Daqing Oilfield, the Jilin Oilfield, and the Liaohe Oilfield, and its products are also exported extensively to international markets. In 2020, the project “Development and Application of an Automatic Pressure Detection Device for CNC Internal Blowout Preventers” was approved under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s key special program “Science and Technology Boosting the Economy 2020.” The “Automatic Pressure Detection Device for CNC Internal Blowout Preventers” was recognized by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Department of Finance as “Heilongjiang Province’s First-of-its-Kind Innovative Product in a Key Field.” The project “Internal Blowout Preventers and Detection Equipment for Oil Drilling and Production” passed the review and was approved under the Provincial Department of Science and Technology’s “Heilongjiang Province Support Program for Major Scientific and Technological Achievement Transformation Projects.” Additionally, the project “Demonstration and Application of the Transformation of Achievements in Internal Blowout Preventers for Oil Drilling and Production” successfully passed the review under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Central Guidance Program for Local Scientific and Technological Development.

In June 2021, the company was recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as a member of the third batch of national-level “Specialized, Refined, Differentiated, and Innovative” Little Giant Enterprises. Also in June 2021, the company’s Party branch was awarded the title of “Outstanding Grassroots Party Organization of Mudanjiang City” by the Mudanjiang Municipal Committee. In April 2022, Chairman Wang Jishan was awarded the title of “Model Worker of Mudanjiang City for the Period 2019-2021” by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. In August 2022, Chairman Wang Jishan was elected Vice President of the Heilongjiang Provincial Association of Mechanical Industry Technology, and the company became a vice-presidential unit of the association. In September 2022, the company successfully obtained certification under the quality system for research and production of weapons and equipment. In November 2022, the company jointly established with Harbin Institute of Technology the Industrial Technology Research Institute for Downhole Anti-Surge Equipment for Oil Drilling and Production. In March 2023, the company was granted Level-II Confidentiality Qualification for Units Engaged in Research and Production of Weapons and Equipment. In October 2023, the company was recognized by Heilongjiang Province as a Single-Item Champion Enterprise in the manufacturing of downhole anti-surge tools for well control. Currently, the company’s products have been thoroughly validated in China National Petroleum Corporation’s Xinjiang ultra-deep wells reaching depths of 10,000 meters and have become the customer’s designated product.
